8 months and free couch
G'day!
Today hits my 8 month mark on the mission!!
It was a good week! It's been really hot and the members are feeding us heaps.
*Free couch miracle.
Monday we were working so hard in the blistering Aussie sun and when we were driving back to our flat that night we saw a free couch on the side of the road. We don't have a couch in our flat so me and my companion carried it all the way to our flat(wasn't too far away but it was heavy so it felt like forever)
This crappy couch actually made my day! We have lots of investigators who aren't progressing and the day was kind of rough but the couch made me feel better.
Another miracle was we found this less active member we felt prompted to visit and we were able to have a really good conversation with him, he hasn't been to church in years and he told us we could come back and teach his kids(10 years old) because he feels they need to know the gospel.
There's this other less active member we are visiting and we asked him how his book of Mormon reading is going and he told us he doesn't read it but he keeps it in his car for protection🤦♀️
