The temple and a cow 😜
Hey!! Today is temple P day so that's always fun!!
This week was the best/worst week ever haha!
Saturday we had a recent convert attend the temple for the first time!!!
It was way cool because she got baptized my first transfer in the area (in July) then I got to see her do baptisms in the temple for the first time! She loved it so much.
Then another miracle was the next day we were able to go and teach her husband and set him on a date to get baptized on the 26th of January.
That same night for dinner we had it with a part member family and we set the 9 year old son to be baptized on the 5th of January!
Then with the investigator I was talking about last week in my weekly email, the one we read the Book of Mormon with. We went back Thursday and read more of the BOM with her and then Monday we felt prompted to read Mosiah chapter 18 with her. It was honestly such a cool experience. After we read it she asked "How did you know to read this with me?" We told her that we felt prompted to share it with her. And she was so shocked! She shared with us a a spiritual experience she had the night before and how the chapter we read with her answered her prayer. After we invited her to be baptized and the spirit in that room was so strong and you could tell she felt it. She told us yes that she wanted to be baptized and that she felt so happy, and she felt God.
But then Tuesday is where the bad part of the week came in! She broke up with us!!! She sent us a message saying how much she loves us and how much she loves God and Jesus Christ but that she doesn't want to be baptized anymore. Honestly so sad because we know that she felt the spirit! When we are there she knows it's true but once we leave she talks to her other friends and then they confuse her and she forgets the spirit she felt. (Agency is the worst sometimes)
Yep we are staying busy! Not much more to talk about for this week.
