5th transfer and new companion!
Hello friends and fam!!! This week was great!!!
Transfers happened! And guess what?! I'm staying in Darling Heights but my golden got transferred. I was low key nervous that I would be getting transferred but I'm so happy that I'm staying. My work isn't finished her yet;)
My new companion is so amazing!!! I already love her so so much!! Her name is sister Matavusi, and she is from Vanuatu. She was baptized when she was 16 and is now 19 and serving a mission. I'm so blown away by her strong testimony and love for the work. It's going to be an awesome transfer.
Friday was my 6 month mark which is so crazy!!! I can't believe I'm 1/3 the way through the mission.
Saturday was a great day because we got to witness a lovely couple that us and the other sister's have been working with for awhile get baptized! It was such an amazing and a long awaited day for them.๐
Also Happy Thanksgiving this week! It's hot here so it doesn't feel like Thanksgiving which is good because it makes me feel less homesick๐
"Just do the very best you can each day. Do the basic things and, before you realize it, your life will be full of spiritual understanding that will confirm to you that your Heavenly Father loves you. When a person knows this, then life will be full of purpose and meaning, making balance easier to maintain." -President M. Russell Ballard
I love this quote! it really is the small things in life like saying your prayers, going to church, and reading your Scriptures that make the biggest difference in our lives!
