Temple P day!!

G'day Mates!

Today is our temple P-day so this morning we got to do a session in the temple. It was so good! I was really missing the temple so I was so happy to be back today:) Then after we had interviews with the mission president.

The work in this area is pretty hard but me and my comp have been working really hard to find new investigators. And we had the coolest thing happen this Sunday! In my last email I was talking about the guy from Iraq that we taught using google translate, well he came to church on Sunday! We didn't think he was going to come but he did. He seemed really happy and all the members were really good to him him and he met a lady in the ward that knew his language a little and is going to help him with his English.

We were reading the Book of Mormon with our recent convert again this week and she is so funny! When we were reading she yells "This is amazing!! Why doesn't everyone believe this?!" I love her, everyone needs to have her same attitude while reading the Book of Mormon as she does.

Random things that happened:
-I tried Vegemite at a members house! I told them I never had it and they were so excited to let me try some. I ate it on a cracker and I didn't like it haha! It's so bitter.

-We were doing some service for a member this week and we were folding some clothes and she was so impressed with my folding! #thanksoldnavy ;)

-I gave my first training in district meeting on Tuesday.

Spiritual thought: In our mission, every day before we leave the flat we recite 2 timothy 1:7-8 then share our testimonies.
"For god hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord"
At first I thought it was kind of weird that we have to do it everyday but now I love it! It's my new favorite scripture and it really gets me excited for missionary work. I know that feelings of fear or inadequacy are not from God but from Satan. God uplifts us! Never be ashamed to share your testimony.

Love you all!
