Smart phones:)))
Hello friends!!!
We had zone conference yesterday and we got our smart phones!!! Everyone was taking heaps of selfies haha:) We will get to use Facebook in about 4 weeks. I'm so excited to use technology in missionary work and see all the ways it will help us. Yesterday we had lots of training's about the rules we need to follow to stay safe while using the phones. "The lord trusts you to use technology, honor that trust." They also said it's so important that we learn good technology habits now that we can take with us when we go home.
We had a baptism on Saturday and it was so fun! It was for a lady named R* and she got baptized with her 9 year old daughter. The guy in our ward who does "church fit" has trained her for about a year and then he introduced her to the missionaries and now she just got baptized:)
We were reading with our recent convert -E* this week and we got to Jacob and she was not very happy when she found out that Nephi died!
Besides the baptism and smart phones, this week hasn't been too exciting because my companion has been sick. Last week I had a bad cold and then this week it's her and now I'm getting sick again! But the work must go on:)

D&C 11: 20-21
Behold, this is your work, to keep my commandments, yea, with all your might, mind and strength. Seek not to declare my word, but first to obtain my word, and then shall your tongue be loosed; then, if you desire, you shall have my spirit and my word, yea, the power of God unto the convincing of men.
I love my heavenly father and savior so much! The church is true!
