Happy 4th

Happy 4th of July!! I'm not in America but I'm still celebrating;)

This week was so awesome. I can't believe how fast the days are going now. I've almost been in Australia for a month.

Zone Conference on Wednesday was good. The same guy that was at the fireside last week came- Chad Hymas. I left so inspired and ready to work haha. They also told us that we will be a technology mission soon and we are getting smart phones in a couple of months so that will be exciting:)

Saturday I had my first baptism. It was so cool seeing our investigator A* get baptized. He texted us that night and said it was the best day of his life.

Also on Saturday all the sisters in our zone went to a homecoming celebration for a missionary in our stake. And WOAH, Samoans go all out!! It was at a chapel and it was crazy, everyone in the stake was there and all the missionary's family. They had tons of food and it was this huge thing. My comp told me that in Samoan culture it's normal and it's always like that. It was so much fun!

On Friday our mission made a goal to set more baptismal dates and we set 55 in one day!!!

We are still getting fed heaps:) All the members are so good!! They are all so nice and they never stop feeding us. Even non-members and less active are always giving us food because that's part of Samoan culture.

This transfer is almost over. I'm so nervous because Sister Kolia's visa might not be able to be extended so this may be her last transfer. I'm praying she stays, she's the best!!!

This week I've thought a lot about being born in the church. Before coming on the mission I didn't really appreciate how blessed I am for being born in a family that has taught me the gospel. Since being out here I'm so much more grateful for the church and being raised in it!

Love you all! Have a fantastic week

Fa soifua!! :) (Goodbye)
