MTC 2
Heyyy everyone!
I've been at the MTC for 11 days now. I have 9 days left here. The days are starting to go by a little faster so that's super nice!
This week we got our visas and travel plans:))). We are leaving to Australia Monday June 4th!!! The MTC has been awesome but I'm so excited to experience mission life in Australia.
The food has actually been tasting better lately. I feel like they're making better meals but it may just be I'm more immune to the food now;)
On Tuesday we had an amazing devotional where Elder Rasband spoke. I was so excited that I get to be at the MTC while one of the twelve speak. I wasn't expecting it since I'm here for less than 3 weeks. Elder Rasbands' talk was focused on receiving personal revelation. He talked about important it is to listen to the words of the prophet. He challenged us to go back and listen to President Nelsons talk in last general conference. He told us how important it is, especially for missionaries, to rely on the spirit and personal revelation with our investigators.
I also got to sing in the MTC choir during the devotional (don't be impressed you don't have to know how to sing to be in the choir) They had cameras and everything! I felt like I was in MOTAB!!
After the devotional we had a meeting with our district discussing the devotional. It felt like a girls camp testimony meeting because everyone was crying!
We have to teach lots of fake investigators in the MTC and it's been a little scary but we've all learned so much from it. Something we've focused on a lot is how to ask good questions when you teach.
Everyone loves my stretchy knees, and by love I mean they think it's gross haha!
